The chief of the Jordanian Dentists’ syndicate, Dr. Ibraheem Al-Trawna made an agreement with the Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Hyasaat. This agreement stipulates that 50 dentists will be assigned during the next two weeks at the areas and regions that needs dentists.
Dr. Al-Trawna explained that these designations would help in recovering the shortage of dentists in some regions of the Kingdom, in addition to it may help in reducing the unemployment ratio among them. He added that the Ministry of Health would deal with dentists’ problems wisely, in his confirmation on the Minister’s understanding for the issues of the dentists.
The agreement also included the Ministry sponsorship of the “Oral and Dental Health Conference”, which the syndicate holds to launch a charity campaign, titled with “Our Smile, Our Health” as part of the syndicate role in serving the local community. They coordinated with competent authorities to offer the cure to charities, orphanages and infirm houses to ease the suffering of this group.
